My pet has special food because he/she has allergies. Will Town & Country Pet Resort be able to feed him/her her specific food?
Yes! We recommend all pets remain on their current diet while boarding as a sudden change in diet can cause stomach problems. Meals are served twice daily. If you prefer, we also feed a delicious and nutritious lamb and rice.
Do I need to make a reservation for boarding or grooming or doggie daycare?
Yes. We want to make sure we have a room (or grooming table) available for you! If you are planning on going vacation, call us so we can reserve a room for your dog. During the holiday season, we run out of space very fast.
How does pick up and drop off work?
Advance reservations are required for scheduling purposes, we would recommend calling at least 1-2 days in advance to book this service. Prices will vary depending on your location, please call to get a quote!
How do I make an appointment for the pick up and drop off service for a boarding dog?
Call us! We would happy to schedule you!
Do you take last minute appointment request?
Call us and ask! Most likely we will be able to make it work but it all depends on if there are any holidays or if we are already fully booked.
If I leave a message, send an email, or a message through the website is it safe to assume I will be provided service?
We will call to confirm the appointment.
Can I book just a pick up or drop off and not both ways?
Yes! Just let us know which way you want us to drive your pet.
How far in advance should I book my reservation?
For holiday travel plans it would be highly recommended to book your pets stay at least 1-2 months prior. We typically are full a month before any major holiday. Non-peak travel dates can be accommodated with just a few days' notices. You are also more than welcome to call to double check!
What should I bring with me for my pet while they stay?
We recommend that you bring enough pre-portioned food for their stay.
How do I make a reservation?

My pet has a complicated medication schedule if I bring the medication as well as directions will Town & Country Pet Resort be able to administer my pets medication?
Yes! For a nominal fee and please keep medication in the original bottle.
How secure is the facility?
The facility is very secure. The owners, as well as one trained employee, live on the property. Both gates that give access to the kennel are locked at closing time.
What are the safety protocols?
All employees attend training courses on a regular basis to strengthen knowledge of dogs body language and play styles. The staff is certified in pet first aid and CPR. We have an evacuation plan in place that we can use when needed.
What if my pet gets sick and needs to go to the vet during their visit?
If your pet has a preexisting condition or becomes ill and needs medical attention we will try to notify you and your emergency contact. We will do our best to use your pet's personal veterinarian, but if circumstances warrant we will do whatever necessary to ensure the health of your pet. Do you administer insulin?
Yes for a nominal fee.
What are the rates for grooming?
Prices vary, please contact us and we will be happy to give you a quote!
Is Town & Country Pet Resort groomer certified?
Yes, the owner Trish Elliot is certified.
What vaccinations do you require?
For cats we require FVRCP, FELV (Leukemia), and Rabies.
For dogs we require DHLPP, Bordetella, Rabies, and Canine Influenza.
Please be sure to have your veterinarian email or fax your pet(s) vaccinations prior to their arrival! Preferably the same day as making the reservation.
My dog does not like to play with others, can he/she still come to doggie day care?
Yes! We offer individual play time as well as shop time where your dog can be alone by him or herself or hang out with us in the shop!
What is group play?
Group play depends on your dogs temperament and play style. Upon first visit we will evaluate your dog and decide what is best for your dog! Playgroups can be stressful and your dogs behavior will determine their needs. For example, a shy dog will get stressed so we would recommend individual play or a walk. Active dogs can get over stimulated so we would we will match their play buddies to best suit their active lifestyle. Mature dogs would prefer to explore the play yard by themselves or with other similar friends. we keep our numbers small with safety and fun as the top priority. Playgroup times may vary depending on weather and meal time.
How do I know what activity my dog needs?
Upon arrival we do an assessment of your dog and can determine what activity he or she would like the best.
What is doggie day care?
Doggie day care includes two enriching activities and play.
Why is my pet so exhausted after getting home from boarding?
This is very common! Your dog is in a new environment with activity, new smells, and so much more!
